Ham Radiologists,

As Hurricane Isidore passed near Cuba and over the Yucatan Peninsula,

120 mph winds caused major damage to property and communications.  Hams

are assisting in relief efforts with HF and local nets.  The Texas ARES

Net has begun 24-hour operations on 7285day/3873night as Texas is hit by

flooding and/or coastal evacuees.  20m net frequency for affected area

operations is 14.325.

Areas from Brownsville to Houston/Galveston are probable landfall areas.
