License exams (Note:If you are planning to take an
ARRL-VEC Amateur Radio Exam)
The AARC sponsors exams with ARRL volunteer examiners on the first
Saturday of every month at Murchison Middle School, just off Hart Lane.
W5YI Exams are held at St. Edward's University at 3001 South Congress
on the third Saturday of every month at 2 pm in room 208 of Moody Hall.

ARES - Amateur Radio Emergency Service
The Travis County ARES net meets every Sunday night at
7:30 pm on 147.36 MHz 131.8 PL, backup freq 146.94 MHz no PL.
A packet session is held about 10 minutes after the voice net
on 145.73 MHz in unconnected mode.
The SwapNet
The ARO SwapNet is held on Sunday nights at 9 pm on the 146.94 repeater.
Newsline, an amateur radio news program, is heard on the 146.94
repeater
at 8:30PM. Hugo Sanchez provides this newsfeed via rebroadcast.
