Local
Area Nets
The
Central Texas Traffic Net (CTTN) meets:
Cycle
1:every night at 18:30 cst on the Canyon Lake 147.14
+ repeater PL Tone 103.5.
Cycle
2:at 19:30 cst on the San Marcos 147.10 + repeater
no tone.
We
handle formal NTS traffic.
We
pass traffic into and out of Central Texas. The two repeaters
are wide coverage repeaters, we have stations check in
from Dilly to Caldwell and all points in between. All
licensed amateur radio operaters are invited to check
in. We have liason stations that take traffic to HF nets
voice CW and packet to send any place the US has third-party
agreements.
This
Net meets Monday through Saturday on or about 7290 KHz
from 10:00am to 12:00noon and Monday through Friday from
1:00pm to 2:00pm central time. The Net also convenes at
the discretion of the Net Manager to provide communication
during emergency situations, special functions such as
simulated tests (SET), State Fairs, etc.
